Overthinking isn't just in your head.

    It's in your culture.

Helping high performers and teams break free from mental overload

  • Welcome to OA

In a world that rewards non-stop thinking, what's the cost of never pausing?

Overthinkers Anonymous is a movement grounded in wisdom and powered by cultural intervention. We're here for the smart, the successful, the seemingly unshakeable - who are secretly stuck in their heads and lying awake at 3am with a busy mind.

This isn't about doing more. It's about thinking less – and leading with more awareness and impact.

  • Why we overthink

Overthinking isn't a personal failure. It's a pattern. And it's not just in your mind - it's built into how we work, lead and live.

At OA, we call it The Overthinking Loop: a feedback system between individuals and the systems around them.

    The Personal side:

    • High performers confuse overpreparing with being prepared
    • Smart professionals tie their worth to flawless execution
    • Fear of being wrong > fear of being stuck
    • Mental overload becomes the norm

    The System side:

    • Teams reward complexity over clarity
    • Managers model indecision as diligence
    • Lack of psychological safety makes silence feel smarter than speed
    • Busyness gets mistaken for commitment

  • The loop that keeps you stuck

In simple terms, the more your workplace fuels fear, the more individuals overthink. The more individuals overthink, the slower and more anxious your workplace becomes.

To break this loop, we need change at both levels:

    • Inside the mind
    • Inside the system

    OA helps you do both.

  • Speaking and workshops

Our talks and workshops help your team break the overthinking cycle - from inside your mind to inside your culture.

  • About

Hi, I'm Andrew and I'm an overthinker. Well, a recovering overthinker.

For many years I was an award-winning advertising copywriter and creative leader.

On the surface, everything was rosy.

But underneath, I was stressed. My mind was always busy. My heart wasn't in it. I was often awake at 3am with racing thoughts. It got to the point where I was running on fumes.

I knew something had to change, but I couldn't see a way out. I was stuck.

Eventually, I found the courage to speak to someone. I hired a coach, learned to make peace with my busy mind and went on to reinvent my career and life.

I created Overthinkers Anonymous because I want to help as many people as possible find freedom from the noise. I added 'Anonymous' to the name because I think many of you are suffering in secret. By day, you wear your professional mask. But at night, it's a different story.

For me, this isn't about fixing people. It's about unlearning the mental habits and cultural norms that keep us stuck - and creating a new way of being that's wiser, lighter and more human.
